Friga informed me that Wendell was in town today. Of course, I had no need to speak to the starving walrus, but thanks for the info anyway.

Today is Mallary’s moving day! At last! It’s good to see her all packed up in boxes. Get the duck out of town.
Fang told me he likes to get his buddies to hide in deep shadows. It sounded a bit creepy, but he was really just asking me to play hide-and-seek. Thankfully.
He gave me 15 minutes to find him, Kitt, and Cousteau. But first he had to use the bathroom.
After finding Fang behind the bulletin board, I found Kitt hiding behind Cousteau’s house.
It took me a while to find Cousteau, though. He was hiding behind’s Scott’s house. With the game completed, Fang rewarded me with a mini howloid.

As I made my way around Forest, I stopped at the river to fish out a large shadow. It turned out to be an arowana, which is worth 10,000 bells.
Back behind Nook ‘n’ Go, Fang was the first of my villagers to hand over an old carpet today.
Bunnie didn’t have a carpet for me, but when I spoke to her again after she told me no, she got very defensive. Apparently, she thought that I thought she was lying.
Twiggy had an old carpet for me, as did Bud. But Bud didn’t realize that the “Eyelash Lady” actually had a name!
I couldn’t ask Cousteau for old carpets, because he was still sick with a cold. I did buy him some more medicine, however.
Still, I ended up with three old carpets, which is very good. Most of the time, I’m lucky to get two of them. So I took the three carpets back to Saharah, and she gave me a basement floor. Very disappointing.
She’s crazy. She thinks a basement floor is very exotic?! That floored me!
Broccolo the mouse was sad and heartbroken tonight, all because he really wanted some shortcake and he didn’t have any. But you’re a mouse. Wouldn’t you prefer cheesecake?
And Cousteau the French frog was sick with a cold. I bought some medicine for him; hopefully he’ll be hopping around again soon.
