It was raining in Forest tonight. Bud was not a fan of the drippy stuff.
Up on the cliff above my house, Static was asking where I got the money to put in a basement. It’s best not to ask about what I put in the ground, if you get my drift.
In the roost, I found Mallary enjoying a cup of coffee. Not surprisingly, she was also gossiping.
While I was there, I asked K.K. to sing a random song for me. He performed K.K. Salsa. Now I just need some K.K. chips.
When I visited Kitt, she was a bit rude to me. She asked if my interests included staring at a wall.
Yeah, I’m staring at the wall to imagine where to mount a kangaroo head.
Seems like my villagers weren’t in the best mood tonight. I’m expecting them to cheer up by next time. Or else.
I found Static at the Roost, enjoying some late-night coffee.
He needs his refills.
Now that July is here, that means bug hunting season is in full force! All of the summer bugs are out now, including many valuable beetles. This is the best time of the year for making money, hunting for bugs on summer nights.
But there are potential dangers involved, as I found out when this tarantula ambushed me.
Happy bug hunting! But be careful out there! Remember, the darkness is suspicious.
It’s Saturday night, so I made sure to head up to the Roost for K.K. Slider’s musical performance. He played Forest Life for me, which is a song I’ve always enjoyed.
I saw the shadow of a small fish in the river, so I got my fishing rod out and caught it…it was the key! Wow, first try!
I returned the key to Static, and he was quite relieved. He revealed that he had a backup plan, however: He was going to trick Bud into switching houses!
I saw Bud over by town hall, and he had a small problem of his own: Fleas. I got my net out and caught one of the little buggers. Of course, Bunnie was standing right there, snooping in Bud’s business.
