Pompom Ponders Possible Departure

Just a very quick update today. Lily asked me how I liked the Tortimer shirt she was wearing.

Lily: What do you think of this top I'm wearing? Nice, hm, froggy? She told it was designed by Wendell from Sumware, and she continued how she liked wearing foreign clothing. But why does foreign clothing have a picture of our mayor on it? Hmmm?

But my main reason for posting an entry today is to let you know that Pompom is going to be moving out of town. She asked me if she should leave, and I told her yes. I don’t know her moving date yet, but it will probably be within a few days.

Pompom: But there's gotta be a big house out there for me somewhere, right? There just HAS to be!

March Meteor Shower

Last night, Nate was telling me about a good book: How to Eat Spanakopita With Your Hands: Table Manners for Pigs. I hadn’t heard of that book before. Thanks for the info, Nate.

Nate: You know, that book, How to Eat Spanakopita with Your Hands: Table Manners for Pigs. Then tonight, Goose told me to check out the sky.

Goose: Whoa, shorty! Check out the sky! It's like a starsplosion up there! There was a meteor shower up above, so I found a good place in Pac-Man Pond Park and watched the shooting stars go by.

I watch a shooting star fly by overhead from Pac-Man Pond Park.I took a bus to the city, and I visited poor, lonely Lloid. The auction house has been basically useless since they shut down WiiConnect24 last year.

LLoid: Simply inform me which item sir wishes to display, and what the reserve price will be.The only use it still has is access to the checkroom. So if you accidentally sell all your dressers or something, you can still go there to add or remove items from your storage.

Tom’s Hacked Town

Tom invited me over to see his hacked town today. I don’t normally visit hacked towns, but Wi-Fi is ending soon, so I thought I might as well check one out. As soon as I arrived, I saw a lighthouse and windmill right near his gate.

A windmill near the town gate in Tom's hacked town. His friend Valerie also came over to visit, and we were able to walk on the Able Sisters building. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t open that tiny upstairs window or meet the mice that must live there.

Me and Tom standing on the roof of Able Sisters.Tom saved the game to kill us all, but Valerie got caught in an endless death loop on top of Tom’s windmill, so Tom had to reset. After reopening his gate, Tom burned me with a Roman candle. I seemed to be enjoying it a bit too much in this picture.

Tom burns me with a roman candle. He also dropped some sold-out signs on the ground. I wonder what Tom Nook displays when the sold-out signs are sold out?

Tom displays SOLD OUT signs on the ground. And he used a pitfall trick to get me into the river.

Standing in the river with Tom, in his hacked town.It was an interesting visit. At one point, he was pooping out rare mushrooms and I was eating them. But before he left to go to bed, he had one last surprise for me. He told me to go into the “Trap” house, so I did. Once I went inside, two brick blocks prevented me from entering the room.

Tom, to me, as I can't enter his house: pwnedMy character kept trying to move forward into the room, but I was unable to move at all. I couldn’t even use my USB keyboard to type. Tom then said goodnight and disconnected us.

Later on, I played in my own town; I went up to the museum to catch K.K.’s performance at The Roost. I let him pick the song, and he performed K.K. Tango for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Tango.I saw Moe walking around outside, and I went up to talk to him. His eyes are enormous and creepy. I don’t like him.

Moe: You know, shaking a leg and busting a move are actually kind of hard to pull off at the same time.Octavian had asked me for a fossil, so I have him a raptor skull I had in my pocket. He happily accepted it and rewarded me with a manor wall.

Octavian: Shorty! Did you find this raptor skull in some forgotten, trap-laden tomb? Or did you just dig?
