Today was the day of the fishing tournament, where you had to catch the biggest fish and give it to Chip. I got a very late start, but I started looking for sea bass in the ocean. I caught a couple of them, but they were smaller than Miranda’s 43-incher that had already been submitted. Unfortunately, I was really having trouble finding more sea bass. I did catch a lobster, which appears huge, and I thought that might do the trick.
But when I gave it to Chip, he said it was even smaller than the sea bass I had earlier. I didn’t have enough time to keep looking. I officially lost to Miranda. How embarrassing.
Once night fell, I noticed the northern lights up in the sky. What a sight to behold.
It was raining in the city, so I didn’t need to water my flowers. But I found two new black roses on my daily walk. After 8:00, I went into the museum to hear K.K. perform at The Roost. I asked for a random song and he played K.K. Reggae.

I decided it was time to ditch the orange Halloween path, so I switched back to my blue ice brick path for the winter.
I went in Cookie’s house to say hello, and she said there was something about me that makes her excited! It’s my clothes, isn’t it?
Actually, she said it was because I was filthy rich! So she basically admitted to being a gold digger.
Back behind Elmer’s house, Rowan got my attention and asked if I wanted to buy a shower? Uh, no thanks dude.
Speaking of Elmer, I just remembered where he lived the first time he was in town. He lived just west of my southern bridge, which just happened to block the view of my sumo ring at the time! I was quite annoyed with his house being there, which is why I wanted him gone even though I liked him as a character. It’s even in one of my Wi-Fi Moments videos when I was attacking his house with an axe and my axe broke. Ness was there helping out too.
Today, there was a message on the bulletin board telling of the big snowfall expected tomorrow. So snow will cover the ground starting on Wednesday. But the sky was clear tonight, providing a good view of the meteor shower overhead.
I found a new house in the same spot where Becky lived. It’s the house next door to me, where Cyrano and then Del used to live. This spot never stays empty for long. So I went inside to meet my new villager, and I find out it’s actually a returning old villager of mine, Elmer! I had him in my town back in 2009.
This Elmer moved in from Brian’s town, Village. Hopefully he’ll stick around longer this time.
