Creepy Cauldron DLC

Today is new DLC day, so Pete was waiting for me outside my house with a letter. Nintendo attached a creepy cauldron to the letter.

Dear Jeff, Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble... Make your own witch's brew in this item! Or, if you prefer, a nice vegetable stew. -NintendoThis is what the creepy cauldron looks like. Maybe Jambette could brew up a potion with this.

The creepy cauldron DLC item from Nintendo. And of course I noticed that the grass has changed color. Instead of that bluish grass that we’ve had for two months, the grass is now green again! This is a big improvement.

The late September green grass. With it being Sunday, I went to the city to check the new emotions at the theater.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?
Nothing for me, thanks.

I again saw Savannah in the city and she echoed my opinion of the theater.

Savannah: I've been to the theater a couple of times now, and honestly, I'm never really impressed, y'all...Back in Forest, I started watering my flowers. I talked to Avery, who dropped a bombshell on me. He said he had a song in his head and he played it. He said it was the song from Anville, where he used to live. That’s Olivia’s town. I did not know Avery came from Anville! He never mentioned it when he first moved in!

Avery: You think maybe part of me has unfinished business in Anville, inside me?I was playing earlier than usual, and this allowed me to meet Joan…for the time ever in ACCF.

Joan: I've been selling turnips here on Sunday morns for 'bout 60 years now. For turnips, come see ol' Joan! She was selling turnips for 105 bells each. I bought 90 of them in total.

Joan: So today, the asking price is 105 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?I talked to Iggly and he asked me who I would rather choose, him or Jambette. Easy question. I’d choose anyone over Jambette.

Iggly: Who would you choose, me or Jambette, waddler? And lastly, I went in Deena’s house. She has finally made her decision: She’s moving out. She’s all packed up and ready to go.

Deena: I think I've almost got everything packed. There's nothing left to do now but the cleaning, woowoo.I’ve been seeing Savannah in the city a lot lately. Now I’m not sure if she’s a homeless one (moved out of someone’s town) or just a random one. But if she is a homeless one, I think there’s a good chance she’ll move in, since Deena is about to move out. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Seeing Double

I opened my gate around 10:05 for Friday Night Forest. Megan, Yann, and Ness came over to visit. We saw that Jambette was sick–that was good because that meant we didn’t have to see her tonight. And I have no plans of buying medicine for her.

Sign on Jambette's door: I have a cold. It's contagious. Don't come in...Before I opened my gate, I had buried three pitfall seeds. Ness ended up falling in all three of them.

Ness struggles to get out of a pitfall.I had mail at my house; it was the boxing barricades that I ordered earlier. I put them in my upstairs room to keep Megan and Yann from turning my Metroid (and lamp) on and off repeatedly, which they just love to do.

Jeff: Friend-proof.Around 10:50, Megan told me that she accidentally killed a gold rose. So I reset the game. Megan and Yann came back, but Ness didn’t return.

About ten minutes later, Olivia came over to visit. She was half asleep and wasn’t talking much or moving much, but she hung out with us for a while.

Yann, Olivia, Megan, and Jeff hanging out in Jeff's gorgeous furniture room.We did a cool glitch where one of us would get stuck between two other people grabbing a table. The person in the middle would see things in double and/or see everything shaking. This is an example of what it looked like:

Standing in between a blurry double Megan and a blurry double Yann.Olivia hadn’t said anything for a while, so I asked if she wanted to give the glitch a try. But she said she was too tired and she decided to leave. Yann, Megan, and I just talked about random subjects: Wii U, foreign languages, and even cookies.

Jeff: I like oatmeal but not raisin. Megan: I like raisin but not oatmeal. We did the Nook door glitch and talked about Yann’s upcoming wedding to Del. We started beating flowers with our nets and noticed that an infinite number of petals will fly off the rose, but it will never die from being hit with the net.

Then we went into Avery’s house for a while. He was playing K.K. Condor, which is a good song, but it still gets annoying after a while. So I went outside and decided to plant a pitfall seed near the door. A few minutes later, Megan came out and walked right by the pitfall seed without noticing it. But then Yann came out and fell into it. We then just hung out by town hall. Megan got her pew pew slingshot out.

Megan: Pew pew pew!Around 3:15, I closed my gate for the night.

Gulliver’s Long Nap

While walking around town, Egbert suggested we get together sometime.

Egbert: So, let's get together soon at my house, or your house, or someone else's house! After watering my flowers, I went to the beach to wake up Gulliver. I had to talk to him about 20 times to wake him up for good. What’s with that, Nintendo? That’s really excessive.

Gulliver: Yaaawn... Now, THAT was a good nap...He gave me another Metroid. That’s my third one. I have one in Scott’s house and two in my house. I still need the tribal mask to complete the set.
