All Jammed Out

Portia was enjoying some coffee at the Roost tonight. She also pointed out Brewster’s love of gyroids. I wonder if some of those gyroids on his shelf are mine? 😛

Portia: Hmm. Ever notice that Brewster likes to decorate his shelves with gyroids?

I barely got there in time for a show, and K.K. Slider performed K.K. Rally for me. It’s not a song that I seem to hear very often; it’s not bad. But by the time the song was over, it was after midnight. So K.K. refused to play another song.

K.K.: I'm all jammed out for today...

When I visited Astrid, she also mentioned the time being after midnight. She pointed out that the date changed when she wasn’t looking. 😛

Astrid: Ah...! Looks like the date changed when I wasn't looking, in 2021!

She actually seemed a bit mad that the day ended without her permission. There’s nothing I can do about it, Kitty cat killer. 🤷

I rolled up today’s snowballs and made a large snowman. He was perfect, so he’ll be sending me a gift in the mail.

Snowman: It's a new season, and I'm completely gorgeous! Look at these proportions! I'm mathematically flawless!

Here’s a better picture that shows our comparative sizes:

Jeff and his large snowman.

How did I even get his head ball up that high? My arms really aren’t that long! 😉

Enjoy your weekend, everyone.

Snowballs for Earmuffs

Walker is officially a former resident; I received his goodbye letter in the mail today.

To Jeff, Moving day is here, and I feel weird! Half of me is excited to go to my new town, but the other half is sad 'cause I gotta leave. I hope we meet again! -From Walker

Chip was standing outside of town hall, and he informed me that Tom won today’s horse mackerel-only fishing tournament with a 16.6 inch fish. Congrats to Tom!

I visited Puck, and he told me that the cold temperatures of winter don’t bother him. Of course, he was indoors as he said this. 😛

Puck: I could wear snowballs for earmuffs and still be warm enough to kick back with a little fro-yo.

And naturally, he is a penguin, so he probably is more suited to the cold than most of us.

It’s Saturday night, so I headed down to the Roost to hang with K.K. Slider. I let him pick a random song, and he played Agent K.K. for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Agent K.K..

After the show, I spotted an unusually large fish shadow in the river. I fished out a nice stringfish! That’s an easy 15,000 bells!

I caught a stringfish! This is AWESOME!

After making my rounds, I sold some fossils, fruit, and my stringfish. When I put my earnings into the bank, my account balance reached 44 million bells.

Your current balance is 44,000,000 bells.

Have a great day, and I’ll see you next time!

Walker Walks Out

The snowman I built last week may be long gone, but I just received his thank-you letter in the mail today. He sent me a snowman carpet, which I sold at Nook ‘n’ Go for 8,888 bells.

When I visited Walker, I was dog-gone surprised to see that he’s all packed up and ready to move out!

Walker, ready to leave: Oh, Chill J! I, um, wasn't expecting company.

He may not have been my favorite dog, but I did like him, and I’m disappointed to see him leaving town so soon! He’s only been here for three and a half months (since late September).

I found both of today’s snowballs in the same general area (just west of the fountain), so I decided to roll them up into a snowman. He turned out perfectly, so I’ll be getting another reward in the mail next time.

Snowman: My perfect roundness, this balance of body and head! There's not an ounce of criticism I can give!

I went down to the Roost to check out the Saturday night musical performance. K.K. Slider sang Cafe K.K. for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Cafe K.K..

Tom was sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for him. Get well soon, Tom!

Tom flips as he takes some cold medicine.

When I took the bus out to the city, Bones nearly got ran over by the bus! He was walking up (north), but stopped and turned right, just as the bus arrived! I’m sure villagers can’t actually be hit by the bus, but it was the closest call I’ve seen!

Bones nearly gets hit by a bus.

Be careful out there!
